I am showing you how to make a summer special almond shake in street style. Almond shake is a thick almond shake that is very tasty without using any artificial flavors, and I make badam shake with natural flavor.
You can make almond shake very easily at home. Who doesn’t like almond milk in summer? If you do this, everyone from children to adults will enjoy the taste. So, I will explain it clearly step by step, taking all the measurements exactly and you can also try it at home.

Ingredients for badam shake :
- 25-30 almonds
- 1 liter full-fat milk (or regular milk)
- Saffron (pinch)
- 2 tbsp custard powder (or 2 tsp corn flour as alternative)
- ¼ tsp vanilla essence
- ½ tbsp cardamom powder
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp condensed milk (optional)D
- Dry fruits for garnish (optional)
How to make badam shake Step-by-Step
Step -1 Soaking Almonds
Without further delay, let’s get into the making process. First, to make this almond shake, soak 25 to 30 almonds in water the night before. If you soak them overnight, the almonds will soak well. Remove the entire skin on the almonds and put them in a bowl.

You need to soak the almonds instantly. Here is a little tip for you. Boil the almonds in water and then put the boiled almonds in cold water and leave them in very cool water for 10 minutes. The skin on the almonds will come off easily. You can do this anyway.
Step -2 Boiling Milk

Next, for the almond shake, put a pan on the stove. Put some water in the pan, boil the water a little and set it aside. This will prevent the milk from sticking to the pan while boiling.
Then add one litre of full fat milk in it. If you do not have full fat milk, you can use normal milk. Put the milk on medium flame and boil it while stirring it with a spoon in between. After the milk boils, now add up to one and a half cups. Take the milk in a bowl and set it aside.
Step -3 Preparing Saffron Milk
Keep the remaining milk on a low flame and keep it on a low flame. Now, to give the almond milk a natural color, take a pinch of saffron in a bowl. Take about a tablespoon of the hot milk that we have set aside and add it to the saffron and let it soak.
The hot milk helps the saffron to soak quickly. Now, take a small mixer jar and add the peeled almonds in it. Also, add half the milk from the milk that we have set aside to this almond paste. Also, add the soaked saffron milk in it.
Step -4 Making Almond Paste
Blend all of this as smoothly as possible into a fine paste. By blending the soaked saffron milk in this mixer jar, you will get an excellent color. You do not need to add any extra food coloring. After blending, Once the color is good, set aside the blended paste.
Step -5 Making the Almond Shake Base
Now, while it is on the side, add two tbsp of custard powder to the remaining milk. If you don’t have custard powder, add two teaspoons of corn flour or don’t have corn powder simply avoid this powders. Add one-quarter tbsp of vanilla essence along with the corn flour. Mix this corn powder well into the milk without any lumps. Mix it like this and set aside.
Next, let’s add it one by one to the boiling milk. First, add the almond paste that we blended. Keep adding the almond paste and mixing it with a ladle. After adding the almond paste, boil it on a low flame for at least five to ten minutes.
After boiling it on a low flame for about 10 minutes, until all the raw smell of the almond paste disappears and a sweet smell comes out. Add half a tbsp of cardamom powder to this and mix it well.
Step -6 Sweetening and Thickening

Next, before adding the custard milk, mix it well once and add it to the milk. Now, put the flame on medium flame and let the milk thicken a little. While boiling the milk, keep adding all the cream that comes out of the edges to the milk.
After the milk thickens a little, add up to three tbsp of sugar to it. I also add up to one tbsp of condensed milk for richness. If you do not have condensed milk, add an extra tbsp of sugar. You can add a little sugar here and there depending on the sweetness you eat.
After adding the sugar, boil it for a while on low flame until it dissolves. After turning off the stove, set aside and let the cooled almond milk cool completely.

Step -7 Cooling and Blending
Take it in a bowl and freeze it in the freezer for one hour. After one hour, its thickness will increase further. After it becomes creamy and thick, put this entire mixture in a blender. Put it in the blender and blend it a little smoothly by giving it two or three pulses. After that, the thick almond shake is ready.
Step -8 Serving the Almond Shake

Now we just have to serve it. Before serving, add 1-2 tbsp of finely chopped dry fruits and mix it. That’s it. The summer special super tasty almond shake is ready.
You can serve it plain or you can serve it with some ice cubes. It is very, very good. It is a refreshing summer drink that gives good energy.
