Mushrooms: 300-400 grams (washed, dried, and chopped)

Cashews: 10-15 (soaked for 30 minutes)

Tomatoes: 4-5 (boiled and peeled)

Onions: 2 ( chopped)

Green chilies: 2-3 (chopped)

Garlic paste: 1 tablespoon

Ginger paste: 1 tablespoon

Spices:

Cinnamon: 1 small stick

Peppercorns: 5-6

Cardamom: 2 pods

Cloves: 3-4

Cumin seeds: 1 teaspoon

Ground Spices:

Turmeric powder: ¼ teaspoon

Coriander powder: 1 tablespoon

Black pepper powder or Kashmiri black pepper: 2 tablespoons

Salt: 1 tablespoon (adjust to taste)

Garam masala: ½ teaspoon

Other Ingredients:

Oil: 2 tablespoons

Water: 1 cup

Fresh coriander or mint leaves: for garnishing

Mushroom curry recipe Indian style

First we need to take 300 grams or 400 grams of mushrooms. Then put them in water and wash them well because they contain dirt and mud. After washing, dry completely. Then cut the mushrooms into small pieces and keep aside.

Put cashews in a bowl (10-15 cashews). Pour some water in that bowl and soak for 30 minutes.

Take another bowl, pour some water & boil it and add four or five tomatoes to the boiling water. After the tomatoes are boiled, take down them from the pan.

Then take boiled tomatoes and soaked cashews and put them in a mixer and grind them well. Grind it for how long until it turns into a paste.

Then take another bowl, put it on flame and pour 2 spoons of oil in a curry bowl. After the oil heats up, add cinnamon, pepper, cardamom and cloves and fry them in the oil.

Mix them all and add a little 1 spoon of cumin in it. Then add one spoon of minced garlic and another spoon of minced ginger paste and also add chopped green chillies.

Add the chopped onions and mix well. Fry for how long until it turns brown.

Then add the paste of cashew nuts and tomatoes and mix it. After mixing it well, add ¼ turmeric, one spoon of coriander powder, two spoons of black pepper in your house or you can also use Kashmiri black pepper found outside, add one spoon of salt and mix it well. Mix this for as long as the oil rises (2 min).

Then put green padda in it. If you have it, if you don’t, add the cut mushrooms and mix well.

Add some water (1 cup water) and mix it. After mixing, put the lid on the bowl, set slow down the flame into medium size and cook for 10-15 minutes.

After ten minutes, add garam masala and mix well. After mixing like this, finally add coriander or mint and mash the mushroom mutter.
